Klandy Branch Sewer - Stage 1A & 1B
The Klandy Branch Sewer was constructed for Stockland in 2016 and included:
- 2km of DN450 GRP gravity sewer
- 600m trenchless/bored installation
- 13 cast in-situ manholes
- Depth up to 13m
The main challenges faced included excavation protection for such deep open cut excavations and significant ground water issues throughout this area which had to be appropriately managed to allow construction to continue safely to acceptable quality standards required by the water authority.
